Yesterday was the first day of the New York fashion week roller coaster. On this day the hottest ticket was for the show from the most polarizing personality at the moment in collaboration with Adidas; Kayne West (who else)! The front row guests were not the biggest editors or bloggers, no the most most famous celebrities like Rihanna, Jay Z, Beyonce & Puff Daddy.  Do you spot Justin Bieber? Oh well yes he is sitting second row! Hide yourself Justin, anyone said…



But was Kayne ready for his come back into the fashion world? 

Kayne West: ”I want people to think more, I want people to feel like it’s okay to create and follow what their dreams are and not feel boxed in, I want people to feel like awesome is possible! There’s a lack of creativity in every field because people are afraid. As an artist and in this world we can do whatever we want.”
Then the spots go on and the music start; it is time to rock that show in a large industrial space! Till little North West throws a tantrum in front at New York Fashion Week… Maybe next season no more children allow? Happy as we are as reality star Kim leaves the front row and hide herself and North backstage, let the show go on we all say. 

 “We see 50 beautiful models of all shapes, sizes and ethnicity (well done, there are not only people with size 0)! There were many flesh-toned bodies stockings to convey the notion of the pared-back-to-nothingness that is a Beecroft trademark, well not that it is really wearable, but we understand the meaning behind it. Now about the other looks from Kayne’s collection; we see many bomber jacks, parkas, crop tops, oversized coats, sweaters & shorts all very military, wearable and trendy (good for the sale, many people would wear it)! 
Accessories: High socks, caps, backpacks, boots & sneakers.
Print: Army.
Colors: Grey, green, nude, white & black.
Makeup: Natural.

    Hm, it wasn't exactly my type of collection. It was like a more expensive American Apparel. Although, I admire his idea of including people of all sizes.

    Very disappointed..There is nothing special in his collabo with Adidas.
    And have you seen the sneakers that he made with them ? LOL They are ugly.
